That was the assignment given at the second keynote off CFUnited 2009. Joe Rinehart told the crowed that ColdFusion's strengths lies in it's ability to do more than power CRUD apps, and if we want to make sure ColdFuson lives on and is known as the greatest language we need to develop better applications. Not just simple data manipulation applications, aka CRUD app, but something that will really show off ColdFusion's power and hopefully something people will find useful.

So to meet this challenge I'm going to take an idea that I've been playing around with and try to make it into something really cool. My idea is a simple to use yet very powerful community based project management system. The general idea is to create a project management system we're you can invite people to join your project. I will primarily be targeting developers but I am hoping to develop it so other people will find it useful. I will be combining what I think are the good features of a project management system with some of my own ideas to make it stand out from the crowed. So there is it my response to Joe Rinehart's challenge. A ColdFusion / Flex / Air based community project management system.
